The body of works that Speak Cryptic has created for this years Koganecho Art Bazaar addresses mainly the subject of (temporary) migration, which is defined in this context as moving from one location to another alongside the issues pertaining to the evolution of personal identities that transpires as a result of the action of migration. These series of works that the artist has created over the residency period is an accumulation of experiences, some instant while some are more gradual, with each art work being an attempt to address these various encounters with the landscape and people of Koganecho and Japan.
