I have great friends who coincidentally make amazing things.
Zahir Sanosi, aka KILAS has a print entitled "PONTIANAK" out. It's pretty dope. Check it out by clicking on this link: http://shop.v-lla-ns.com/product/pontianak
Also, my good buds from KILLEUR CALCULATEUR just released the song "Golden Triangle" as a free download on their Bandcamp. Click the link for that one here: http://killeurcalculateur.bandcamp.com/
And so my time at Eminent Plaza is over and I never thought I would say this but I'm going to miss that place. I wished I had more time to paint. Big thanks to everyone involved especially to the guys from the RSC and Tact Space. Here are some pictures:
I've heard of Eminent Plaza, but I've never had the chance to check it out. Never had a reason to either. Unless going to dodgy karaoke bars are my thing, which it isn't. And now, years later, like most things in Singapore, Eminent Plaza is scheduled for demolition and in a couple of weeks, it will be no more.
Which is why it's pretty cool for the people running the space to give it up to my buddies from the RSC, who along with Tact Space will be organizing and curating a couple of shows at the now abandoned spaces before the whole building goes down at the end of this month. I was pretty fortunate to be assigned to one of the spaces on the ground floor, which I will be using as a space to work on ideas and concepts for upcoming exhibitions. I "moved in" yesterday and this is what I've done so far.
Currently in the midst of preparing for a couple of shows that will be coming up in the next few months. Exciting times.
Here are two drawings that I recently did.
