I've heard of Eminent Plaza, but I've never had the chance to check it out. Never had a reason to either. Unless going to dodgy karaoke bars are my thing, which it isn't. And now, years later, like most things in Singapore, Eminent Plaza is scheduled for demolition and in a couple of weeks, it will be no more.
Which is why it's pretty cool for the people running the space to give it up to my buddies from the RSC, who along with Tact Space will be organizing and curating a couple of shows at the now abandoned spaces before the whole building goes down at the end of this month. I was pretty fortunate to be assigned to one of the spaces on the ground floor, which I will be using as a space to work on ideas and concepts for upcoming exhibitions. I "moved in" yesterday and this is what I've done so far. Comments are closed.
